Interior LED Change

Hey guys

Been a bit busy today. All my naff amber LEDs have been replaced. Took a while, but it is done with the help of a friend.

You all know what it is like before? Good, picture that and then look at this......

The indicators are also blue, but I really do like the White back-light speedo, Rev, Temp and Fuel gauges, nice touch!!

Whilst the light panel was off, a feed from the light was installed for the white footwell LED's that I will get done in the next few weeks.

Whilst having the light panel off and the mirror, it has been noticed that the last Dip-stick who replaced the windscreen has banjo'd the loom for the rain sensor. Need to get a replacement!!

Of course. And the LED for the Power Tailgate switch too which is often forgoten!!

If you are good at taking the interior apart, steady with a solder iron then it can be quite easy.

But I am not taking the credit. Most of the work was done by a pro!

Very nice mate. Makes a big difference.

My eyes are no longer offended. Even in my last Veccy I suffered for almost 3 years. I find the amber painful after a long day in the driving seat, this new colour scheme is cooler to the eye.

I'm very pleased!

I've been undecided on white or blue for my gid, that blue looks great, I'm sold.

The GID pic here does it no Justice. It is much better with the naked eye, or Duncan who know's how to use a camera!!
