    Default rev counter, speedo problem

this is a teaser for you fellas, what could cause this to occur intermittantly?
start the car, no problems then after about 10 mins the rev counter, speedo, fuel gauge and temp gauge all go to a zero reading as if the ignition is off, no other problem with anything else, the car still runs fine, radio works as do the lights. put the code reader on and no fault showing, disconnected the battery for 1/2 hour made no difference either, still does it, any ideas cheers keith.

I do believe it could be a sim/cim problem, going off what I have seen on here in the past

    Recently had a similair issue...

    http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=143122

Turned out to be the dashboard itslef not the CIM, but i was convinced it was the CIM. Not cheap, had to get by using a GPS speedo for my phone for a while and play "how full was my tank?" all the time.
