all parts fitted while under warranty are only covered for the duration of the warranty,so if it runs out next day then that is all the warranty you get,if you pay something towards the work then you get a years warranty on that part

Cheers for the explanation Solo...
Rushy, better offer to throw a tenner in towards the fitting.. it could be well worth it..
Thats exactly what I was told. Think it stinks though! What if I have the same problem again, I know its a long shot, but that would cost me an arm and a leg!
that is the case with most car manufacturesOriginally Posted by rushy

Interested to see what you get told Mark.
Edit: Just saw solorider's post as I posted!

in that case i'd be tempted to take the case back to VX customer care and ask them to investigate why the engine had such a short service life...
It is highly unlikely thou Rushy..yes you've had a bad un. but the z22se is a great engine.. we've had one and it was faultless...(well the only bit that was)
More like stick the little teckies head on the end of my boot! The little rats were finishing work when I collected it and I saw and heard them laughing at the car as they walked past. They knew it was fu@ke@!Originally Posted by Gsi3.2
No offence ment solo.
i think i'd have pulled them up on it... it's your car and they shouldn't behave like that with the customer present.. it's more P Poor VX customer service..
Yep, but they have 'fulfilled' their obligation under the warranty. If you had a major problem with the engine soon after the warranty ran out, then I'd have thought Vx would be sympathetic given the age of the engine.Originally Posted by rushy
Aren't they giving you some sort of 'compensation' for all your hassle? Why not see if they'll give you a Network Q extension once the Vx warranty runs out?

Rushy, i could give you the details of the man at VX who has sorted out a load of trouble for several of our members.. he's really quite good..
He sorted out an extended warranty for triple trouble so i'm sure he could do something for you after all the trouble you've had..
