Default Can anyone beat my mpg? 2.0DTI Signum

I've got a standard 2.0DTI manual Signum Elite, did a trip recently from home (near Sheffield) to Essex, Buckleberry, Reading, London, Brighton all in a 3 day trip when we was doing a few of our vintage clothing fairs. The car was fully loaded with rails, hundreds of clothes, cases, and of course me and my partner, with fairly careful driving I got 573 miles out of the tank, and it still said I could do another 164, although the fuel light had just popped on when I took this photo so I filled it back up, it was a proud moment lol has anyone done better than this??

Depends. What was the manual calculation after fill up with the completed miles? The on board computer is not that great!

73.9 Is pretty impressive although what were those 56 miles like? I once filled up at the services and reset the trip and achieved something over 60mpg as it was one of those 50mph average speed areas of the M1, but it soon decreased once I hit the national speed limit. The trip I did was a good mix as it was a lot of motorway but also through heavy traffic in Essex rush hour and some heavy foot action through the country lanes around Buckleberry. How come your computer is different, are they different on facelift models?

Tbh I just took the details from the computer, although I know the mileage that we had completed was correct
