this morning gsi vs aston martin

first of all can i say im no boy racer
but this morning on my way to the local carboot a aston martin roared past me so at the lights at blackpool new road i pulled up next to him.
he started reving his engine, so i thought im going to get hammered here but im going to give him all ive got tc off at this point,
anyway lights turned booted my gsi and couldnt beleave it pulled away,then in to second gear at this point at least a car away from him in to 3rd the same all the way up to i had to hit my breaks due to camera and i was doing 32mph in a 30 zone.
he then followed me and i turned in to the car boot the aston did i pulled in parked up on the grass he pulled up next to me (i thought **** road rage he was a big bloke)
he jumped out went stright to the back of my car to see what it was and then said fast car that mate.
so i asked why didnt you try he answered.
i didnt at first thought it was a little engine so didnt try, but when you pulled off a head he told me he started to floor it he was flat out in second and nearly in third,before we had to slow down he said i could keep pace but that was it.
he did say next time i will not under estermate it and will beat me from the lights which i agree i know he will i was just lucky i think
walked off with a little bounce in my step a very happy man

he told me it was a aston martin virage something about a nurbourg special it was white with 2 black stripes over the roof etc

i had to share this with all of you as i have never tried to race anyone in this car before and im very supprised with the get up and go it has

see clarkson does talks **** he said he hates vectras. but if they are that bad why did the police use them. goes to show cant take a book buy its cover. theres a road wars vectra in this months total vaxuhall how cool is that!!!

im sure thats what he said virage it had no badges on it i had to ask him what it was at first glance i couldnt even tell it was a aston
he was hard to understand when he spoke but either way the sound of it was enough to make me think he was going to eat me for breakfast

it would explain not able to gain anything on me
just looking at that car in the pic makes me think as it did look like it in white with 2 black stripes and would explain why i couldnt see a name
im going next sunday to search the car boot car park as i need a pic of it
but like the bloke said if he didnt underestemate the vectra he would of had me from the lights so he must have something under their to think he had a chance and the sound of it was a beast
im just praying it is a aston or the next time i come across one im going to be very embarrassed

Last night on top gear thay said the insignia was basically a vectra to which may answered yeah fabulous, don't know if they were taking the p*** but didn't sound like it. Plus i keep hearing that insignia's are being used as getaway cars in crime raids. So they can't be that bad

people say the same about volvo's but i had a 2000 volvo v70 tdi that did a 0-60 in a respectable 7 seconds and topped off at 137 mph.. it had 210.000 on it too!.. damn fast car that opened a few eyes at the lights thats for sure.
