Failing that, ask your current insurer. When my dad passed away I had to get his car to a garage for an evalulation and eventual sale. It was cheaper to insure it for a week on my current policy (with Tesco, which cost me £24) than it was to insure it with the one day insurance policies.

Was going to suggest googling "short term motor insurance" but the abover are all good. I looked into it some time back, not hard to find companies
