    Smile Radio codes

If any one needs a radio code for there vauxhall it cost me 8.99 which is a bargain compared to main dealer prices, the site is

    radio-code.co.uk

Once i paid i had the code within seconds

There is another site which does it for 6.99 but they DON'T have codes for vauxhalls 2000 onwards, the site is

    philipsradiocode.com

My stereo was CCR 2006 PHILIPS

Hope this may come in useful!!!

I tried them, but they gave me the wrong code twice! AND Vauxhall gave me the wrong code (different again!)

    I also have a CCR 2006 unit.

In the end, I took the unit to my local car radio dealer (Autosounds, Newcastle), who got me the code within 20 minutes, by hooking it up to their computer. Cost me £25, but after all the hassle, I was happy

You sound like you had a bit of bad luck mate, it couldn't of gone any easier for me for a change, lol. As i have recently had to put a inlet manifold on the car and it will eventually need a dual mass flywheel as it rattling quite bad now. Did you get your money back for the times it didn't work?

i just changed the starter motor on my veccy and had to undo the battery terminals to avoid charging myself!!!

Anyways I was looking on ebay for a new radio as in some instances it is cheaper for me to buy a new radio rather than get a new code (as this didn't come with the car)

    ANYWAY ENOUGH OF THE WAFFLE...

I removed the terminals about 5 times whilst doing the starter motor and it hasn't lost its code.....eh??!??

All the info you need which is the serial number on the side of the stereo which means taking it out, mine was on the side in the metal casing not on a sticker, the number starts with GM....... and has 14 digits.

I done mine earlier and worked perfectly, well worth 8.99. All main dealers want to do is rip you off, unfortunately.
