    Default Miss fire at 1500rpm on my 120 cdti

    I have a little problem with my vectra since i bought it 6 months ago i get a tiny judder at 1500 rpm its like a missfire it only happens when the engine is warm .I hgot my car a custom remap yesterday and the missfire is happening more often.I know the problem was there prior to the remap now its worse could this be an egr valve problem?? thanks guys

    3rd injector wiring mate or in my case,,,a dirty bost sensor and dirty egr vavle caused a similar judder/misfire,,,try giving them a good clean and c doe it cure it

    well colly did you put the tuning box in yet? is it easy to clean the egr valve ? I made an atempt at takeing it off earlyer seemed easy i didnt wana take it of fully just incase i made a balls of it and whers the boost sensor?

    well rob,,sorry i didnt txt u mate,, ya i put the box in,,,,handy job,,plenty of poke in her now... is ure the 120 or 150 mate ???

    well bro mines the 120bhp after the remap they brought my car up to 150bhp .

    im not too sure the position of the egr or boost sensor on the 120 mate,,,u shud check the how 2's on the site for it,,,,,, hows the car running for ya now

    EGR valve on the 120 is back right top of engine as you stand looking at it and the boost sensor is in the inlet manifold to the left of the egr. Both easy to get at, remove and clean.

    There was a TIS/VX software update that I think was related to a missfire at 1500-ish rpm

    i replaced my fuel filter 2 days ago and its not done it since !
