the HU i have is the seimens one with phone and nav controls so it stays lol.

Have a look here:

If you're keeping the original headunit then you'll need an amplifier with high level inputs or one of these:

Have a look in the ICE gallery section to see what others have
Here's my thread, the latest version is on the last page:

i am pretty happy wi the headunit so i see no point in changing it if i dont have 2, i gotta say you made a good job of that in ur boot alzsxi , looked tidy mate!
I'll probably give caraudiodirect.co.uk an email see if they can recomend anything
cant go wrong with vibe
iv got the cd70 and use one off them line in things and the only thing that lets it down are the STD speakers there useless lol subs a beast with the cd70 i do say
Whilst I agree with why you're trying to keep your set up stock, those high level converters don't do an awful lot of justice to the quality of whatever speakers you're gonna put in.
That said, when it comes to amps and speakers, can't go too wrong with vibe stuff, I myself have a Vibe amp but if you're looking for sound quality as a priority, look at stuff by Diamond, DLS, CDT etc but be prepared to pay for it!
i'm starting mine today, speakers out and spacers then Focals in, run wiring for the amp and then go from there lol
