HID's which colour and wattage?

im seriously considering hids for my car but was wondering about which colour temp to have and if to go for 50w or 35w, i want something that gives good light but i dont want to get pulled by the rozzers lol so i just wana see what people think and maybe if people could post pics of their cars with hids and tell me what colour they have

Well you have seen mine mate, they are 35w 6000K

4300k is as close to natural white as you can get. The higher you go, the more of a blue-ish tint you get, till 10,000k which is more like purple

Personally I'd go for 4300k - 35w or 50w, it won't really matter.

As far as I know, as long as u don't go above 6000k then its all gd "blue" wise, but I know theres a couple of members with 10000k HIDs in as well. 35w is more than enough to go on as well.

ginge u got yours from hids direct didnt you? which kit did you get and did u need cancellers?

atm hids direct are selling the 50w kit for only £2 more than the 35w so i might just go for that and ill probably get 6k tbh ginge dont get any bother with his and his looked really good now just gotta ait for some dosh to become available

indeed lol, i wasnt gonna put hids in till i had new headlamps as mine were really scratched but i spent ages today with a load of blue top 3m machine polish and some megs ultimate compound and they came up a treat
