Anyone fitted one? VX dvd headunit (ebay)

Hey peeps,

Been looking at upgrading the headunit (cd30) and really like the idea of a touchscreen dvd player (not bothered about gps/bluetooth as already have it fully fitted).

Found this on ebay, really like it. But is it a straight fit? will I need adaptors and would the steering controls work etc?????? If anyone has one fitted a pic would be fab and some advice about fitting and if its any good and as said is it a straight swap....

Went to local suppliers of in car entertainment and to be honest I really dont wanna spend more that £300 fitted, All the had for that due to cost of parts needed to fit (harness adaptor/facia and patch lead) was a Beat 675 http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/beat-...h-p-23804.html . I made the guy call there tech line to confirm it is steering wheel compatable and they said it is but not 100% on it working with all models of cars, but the patch lead is only a fiver so worth the try I guess. All in it will cost me £245..........What do you guys think??

Cheers guys, if I can talk the wife out of a £600 puschair I may be able to free up some more cash if you have any recommendations in my budget....

Decent bit of kit if you don't mind that the front moulding is designed with the astra dashboard in mind. The middle of it will stick out a bit on the vectra.

Hi all,

sorry to dig up an old thread... But this head unit cought my attension.

I have a question however. My vectra is half canbus. The leads it has for the radio are the older style and not the big quadlock type you get with the CD30 etc. Would i need a lead converter to get this to fit with my car...?
