changing back end {advice please}

need a quicky here people
i had the hidden exhaust with the bottomvalence with no cutouts in, but i want to change it so i have 2 tailpipes coming out through the botom skirt, i fancy the vxr centre peice instead of the black sri type, so can you get the bottom skirt seperate {dealer reckons i have to buy the whole rear bumper £283.00 } and the vxr centre insert at £28.00? and can you buy the vxr tailpipes as no part number available. cheers

can't help with part nos. but the dealer is right in that you need the whole rear bumper, which includes the rear skirt in one piece on the sri

it quite a lot for the bumper, mibbie look out for one on ebay?

A quick check underneath should show it, look and see if there are any clips between the body coloured part and the black lower piece, off hand I think the bumper itself on the back is a one piece, so you will need the whole thing, try some of the London scrappies for an SRi or GSi rear bumper, think these are 2 piece and a completely different design to the hidden pipe models bumper. hth

Believe the only bumpers that are cut for 2 pipes are the SRI 2.0T, GSI and v6 diesel.

thanks fellas, have decided to go the whole hog and have ordered a complete new rear sri bumper,{seemed a good place to start} what i want is the whole vxr rear end look, so apart from the sri bumper and the vxr inset between the tailpipes do i need anything else? i thought there should be a lower vxr skirt but the dealers been useless so far with any idea about part numbers

got it booked in for next thursday to get all fitted and painted, so really need the part number for the lower skirt anyone pleaseeeeeee
