    tbh, my 2.2 dti pulls from 1200 rpm pretty well until it hits 2300 then all hell lets loose...wel sort of lol..

    i can drive happily between 1000 and 1500 revs all day with no problems cos the engine has enough torque to pull you from 900 rpm onwards.

    just wondering al how does yours pull going up a hill in 5th at 1000rpm? can it do it? i always have to drop to forth, i dont have a clue if im getting enough torque.

    depends on the hill but i rarely knock it down.

    its probably why it does so well on fuel cos i drive at about 40mph cosnatnt to work and its only doing 1100-ish rpm, and it will pull away from that no problem.
