Talking about Fiat 500's...

Took Wendy to NEC for an event today (Naidex), happily cruising at 70mph down the M6Toll about 9.30am and a little white 500 with two red stripes felw past me like I was in reverse.
Caught up to it at the Toll station, but before I could put my foot down, they did, last I saw of it was doing warp 10 on the M42 Southbound

How fast do they go?

The standard 500 has about 101 BHP, but the top spec 500 has 180 BHP ....... Great for camp hairdressers getting to their next haircut in a flash.

Ive been told they get good gains from a remap on the little diesel, the power to weight ratio makes them go like stink.

I really don't think this one was standard, could have been the top spec one. Barriers both went up together from toll plaza on the M6Toll, by the time I'd cleared the barrier he was completely out of sight.
I kept thinking "spoons said acceleration's not all that - what the hell does he consider good"

Fiat 500 for the win

I took the EsseEsse Abarth version out a few months back (and almost bought it !!), but walked away as I dont need two sports cars. I would have an Abarth no hesitation at all. I'm fairly sure you could argue there are better cars, but not for character in my opinion. Really good fun

the standard 500 is a cracking lil vehicle but i reckon if i test drove an ABARTH i'd buy one , if clarkson likes it it must be good !? lol

there's a 200bhp ferrari engined (loosely) version i saw on google. that'd be quick for sure
mazda mx5, mini & peugots are poofy hairdressers cars
fiat 500 goes on the cool wall.
