you need inner tie rod bars,might as well replace them both around £15 to £20 each probaly cheaper on ebay,you might as well change track rod ends,then get the tracking done they can be a pain to undo i use stilsons,make sure to replace gator clips i used cable ties but probaly best getting clips only cheap

is a outer tie rod a track rod end and to fix the mot advisory for the inner steering rack joint would i just need to change the inner tie rods thanks

Was pretty much ideal for the job, as one end fitted the old tie rods ends (36mm), and the opposite end fitted the replacements (32mm). Not sure why they were different, but worked a treat anyway.
Going to attempt this later, the kit came with two black rubber bands, any idea where they go?
You'll need some ty-wraps for the rubber gaiters, but as for rubber bands, nope, no idea.
Sorted, they go onto the steering rack where the gaitor sits, not sure what the sachets of grease were for as the balljoint was already greased, maybe for greasing the bands to allow the gaitor to go on easily?
