    Default torx sockets

    anybody know the common sizes of torx sockets required to do the brakes on a 1.9 cdti , i was about to buy a set

    front or rears? rears you dont need Torx its Allen key would think fronts are the same unless your changing discs

    yeah it was the discs i was changing , just a general clue as i,m not sure of the sizes with star ones

    front is allen key as well

    i do believe its a 7mm

    sorry didnt see las post
    i believe it either a tx 25 or tx27

    i,ve got plenty of socket allens so thats ok

    E20 for the front brakes, E18 for the rears.

    the ones i was looking at go,s from e4-e20 maybe as high as 24

    I'm not exactly sure which one is on the front (possibly e20) but I have this set

    make sure you have a breaker bar the carrier bolts are 120 nm (FT)
