Steering wheel controls half can

Hi guys, I'm looking for the connecting wires from the half can steering wheel control buttons to connect to my Sony CDX-GT121, and does anyone know if I can do a direct swap with a more up to date Sony CDX? ( one with usb preferably ) without having to change the whole unit

I'm not sure about if the wiring is the same for a newer unit but worth looking here http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/steer...47_87_250.html for a lead to connect the steering controls. I e mailed them and they were pretty helpful so may be best to ask them about both queries. Hope that helps a little!
