clunking noise from the 2 front doors

i get when opening and closing the front doors any ideas

check straps need to do mine on drivers door (sounds like door is going to fall off)

what do you do with them ? i have already greased them

Check the hindges. I had the drivers door half fall off my Skoda Octavia due to metal fatigue causing the bigger of the two hindges to snap. There wer strange clunking noises before the failure.

its not the hinges william i have listened closer and as mark says the sound is comming from the check straps

anythin like my mrs 2007 astra the door strap is constantly working loose from where it bolts on the the rear of the door/front wing area.......forever having to tighten it up, i`ll take the bolt out oneday an put loctite on before it goes back in

check the bolts are tight first sometimes they come loose if not door card off easy fix they are about 10 quid each

try spraying the crap out of each strap with WD40.
