CAT prices???

as some of you are aware, i recently had my diesel de-cat'd, my cuz, the mech who did it for me said, keep hold of that (the old cat) it'll be worth something. question is, how much is it worth and where would i sell it? scrap metal place or specialist?

Ebay would be the best place. I'd look at the price of generic ones and work off that with it being a Vauxhall one but second hand.

Mate in the trade gets between £30 to £50 each for scrap cats!!! Collected by a man in a battered transit who could also tarmac your drive, so he must be selling them on for more.

Try EMR in blaydon mate best prices paid locally to you,I know someone who has recently weighed in a renault rx4 cat and got £96 lol,dont sell them to scrap men just deal direct as some cats are worth upto atleast £150
