Driving to Italy / Lake Garda

Well Everyone got back the other week from a driving holiday to lake garda and what can I say what a Beautiful place.

The Drive there was very nice we went through quite a few countries the roads over there compared to here are like driving on glass so so smooth the whole experience was great.
Never drove that far before in total we clocked up 1250 miles going there and the total mileage for the whole trip was 2655.

The Vectra Behaved as it should did not miss a beat running smooth as ever. We stopped over night in Germany near Stuttgart as we were a little behind schedule. The hotel we stayed in was very nice for us to chill out for a bit as we had been driving all day.

well we put down £400 thats for return journey but we used 4 tanks of fuel on the way down there as we booted it a lot in Germany haha

On the way back only 3 and a half tanks so not that bad really especially going up in the alps with the air con and everything

we ended up spending 520 in fuel in the end doing it again next year but for 2 1/2 weeks cant wait
