please help!

got a 2003 signum 2.0t and the exhaust emission light is on, iwas told it could be the lambda sensor, but would this cause the power to drop? was driving it today and when i went to give it some up a hill there was no turbo power! stoped the car for about 20 mins and when i started it again the light was still on but the power was back!!!! any sugestions.

The sensor could be right as the engine maybe over fueling or be too lean. You need to get the codes read really. Could be an air leak, dodgy sensor................

to be fair there are lots of sensors on the vehicle that will make the car go into limp home mode to prevent you causing any "significant damage"
as above get the fault codes read and we can hopefully point you in the right direction to get it sorted - do a search on brake pedal test - this way you can read the codes yourself and save some penies for the replacement parts needed
