Plastic engine cover

Anyone know how to remove this?

It's the 1.9 cdti lump in a siggy.. didn't just want to pull it off..

just pull it off. you'll see how it goes back on

the black plastic top engine cover is held on by rubber bungs, if its a 150 16 valve, just give it a good tug. the bungs will stay on the engine, simply pull those off and reslide them back in the cover. If its a120 8 valve, remove the two torx bolts at the front, then tug off the cover and replace bungs as above.

No bolts from what i can see bud, I'l try getting it off tomorrow.
It looks like it just wanted to pull off, just didnt want to snap anything

oh mine is the 8 valve and has two very obvious bolts at the front

Deffo no bolts on the 16v just lift it straight off
