18" 11 spoke tyre size..40 or 45's?????

i have some more 18" 11 spokes on now before the pre facelift 17" jobbies go back on and the car goes on 28th june.
wondering what profile to put on the 18's as the oem size is 45 but most people on here fit 40 profile, i know the 40's are cheaper but which looks best?

on 45's but not much meat left on them, think the plan is to put new tyres on all round and sell them as i dont think the 11 spokes will look right on a vec-b 2.6 estate,which im currently scouring the country for at the moment.

I think they would look good on a b. If your selling them on surely your better going for 40's to save a few quid

Try 235/40/18's mate - that's what the VXR comes fitted with as standard and it's what I've got on my 11 spokes...
