Default Our new arrival - first bit of good news this year for us

Just thought I would share some good news with you all, my wife went into labour on Saturday at 8pm and on Sunday at 1:24am we had a baby boy. I currently have 2 girls.

He was born at 37 weeks so a bit early as were my other 2 daughters but still weighed in at 7lbs and 5ozs, they were both home on Sunday so now getting used to the getting up in the night again.

Now for the bad news, it's also official, now that other than going to work by myself the Signum is now redundant, and has been moved to the far side of the driveway and probably wont move now for at least 3 weeks while I am off on paternity. I have tried and just can't get the 3 car seats on the back seat safely, oh and because they have ISOFIX the wife says they must go in the Zafira.

Going to take her to the Chrysler garage in the next few weeks, need to see if all 3 car seats fit nicely in the 300c, I am currently saving up like mad to be able to buy one before we drive to France next year.

NOTE TO SELF - turn car round so it's facing downhill for long periods without being started.......

Congratulations on the birth of your new son. Sorry to hear that the Siggy won't be used much. You need to buy yourself a Zafira GSi. Get all the seats in that, surely? And it's quick with style

I would love too but the running costs are too much, wife says it's pointless buying her one as the car tax is too much, also want to tow a caravan (not bought yet) and the Zafira just dose not have the weight I need. I really don't want a MPV or a 4x4 either.

It took 3 1/2 years to agree on a boys name, always had 3 girls names, we called him "William Phillip Turner" my middle name is Phillip and the wife's farther name is Phillip as well.

congrats mate, so jealous he came early and it was a short labour. My missus is due in 10 days, she's 38+4 at the moment so we're playing the waiting game now.
