Alloy Gators

I saw these in Auto Express a few weeks ago and thought they were a really good idea, went to the website and had a look at the different colours they do. As my car is a Black SRi I am considering a set of red ones to set off my red calipers, has anyone on here got a set and if you have are there any pics?

Possibly the most stupid and pointless, if not dangerous, idea I have ever seen.

Trap dirt and moisture, risk silicone onto the pads and trap mositre and dirt onto the calipers & risk overheating.

the first link goes to a site that sells plastic brake calipers, for £20 odd quid, Ive seen these on kit cars at Stoneleigh kit car show and they looked brill, I had to take a 2nd look

I have looked numerous times, but have seen and heard of too many coming loose to consider buying them
