    Default Interior trim Q?

I am looking into buying a 3.2 V6 Auto Elite and the trim is the yucky wood look, I would prefer the silver trim so was thinking if I buy the car how much would it cost me to replace the trim and how easy/difficult a job is it??????

I have the same mate 3.2 elite with the wood want rid of it, the main dash strip just pulls off put think the door strips are harder to come off and you need to take the whole door card off!!!

Not an easy job - the trim on the doors isn't designed to be replaceable, it's held on by melting the plastic at the back, so you'll have to cut/drill the fixings at the back of the door cards.

Leave the trim on the door card, remove the door card from the door, mask up the door above and below the trim, and spray paint it that way.

Never mind, would probably end up with a sharp masking line somewhere knowing me... and it's only the 1 long front piece that needs sorting...

Why everyone just doesn't buy a £2 stereo removal tool when they first buy a car i'll never know...

Start at one end and pull it out, it's held on by metal clips/springs.
