The cars gone now!

Had my vec c facelift for sale for a while now and decided to put it on flea bay last weekend. The car was bought for a VERY reasonable price....in fact i bet it was the cheapest roadworthy taxed and tested facelift SRI in the country right now!

The chap came and picked it up tonight

quite sad to
see it driving away after all the effort i put into repairing it and making it a
nice car again!

I have been a long time VW fan and decided i just wasnt happy with a Vauxhall in the end, my heart just wasnt in it.

So im on the hunt for another car now....at the moment a mk 4 Golf V6 4 Motion is my favourite choice as a replacement.

I have genuinely enjoyed being a member on here and would like to think i have helped as many as have helped me with vectra problems and given a small amount of pleasure with my re-build thread of my damaged vec.

I might even stick around.....if you will all still have me with a VW Golf!

I have been knocking around on here again lately as i missed the place!

I did end up getting a 4 motion but still enjoy contributing and still have a good vec c knowledge.

Heres a the new motor. A tad thirsty at 2.8 but all is forgiven when you here the V6 growl!

Thanks, its certainly quick compared to my old 1.8 SRI!

0-60 in 6.9sec, 146mph and 204 bhp

there is always a Vaux 2.8 turbo V6, had mine for about 3 weeks and loving it. Just drop it 30mm and stuck a kn filter in to her, sound good and goes ok. RE-map and New wheel on the horizon.

Nice golf but a little plain sorry
