Not done that, but I have fitted a pair of horns off an Omega B.

Same plugs, so just plug and play, one in each wing just below the headlights.

    Sounds quite loud now

Quite cheap from a scrappy or from E-bay

Will need a mounting bracket / strip for the off-side horn

Is your horn a single note one ?????

Our 55reg Facelift Club has a single tone and I thought about 'upgrading to two tone' several months back, but I I couldn't locate the Horn Relay anywhere , so I believe it's not 'pre-wired' for a two tone set-up, despite being pre-wired with two wiring harnesses one behind each fog-lamp blanking plate in the non-sport front bumper..

These, I was told on here, are for a headlamp washer option.....not even for the fog light option apparently .....so there may be a wiring/relay issue in fitting a twin tone set-up....mind you I'd be pleased to know how you get on 'cos it's an upgrade I'd like to do...

    Cheers

My horn was a feeble single tone item...
But I swapped it out, and fitted two horns from an Omega B.
As said above, the plugs are already there...no need to mess with fuses or relays.
    I just plugged and played.

Saying this though, despite my car being an Energy, it has had wiring in that others haven't.
Both plugs are in the upper corners of the front bumper.

As said above, Omega B ones are good, they're dual tone: 400Hz and 500Hz IIRC. PIAA do a dual tone one with the same tones as the Omega, but the quality is pants and they break easilly.

cheers for info my old vectra b was a good horn and even my mini cooper, i have a club and when i was fitting the hids a few months bak i noticed a wiring plug doing nothink so that could be for the second horn (i should of said my horn is a single tone ) what im gonna do is take the bumper off tomorrow and take the horn off and swop it over to the other connector and see if it works.

also cant i just snip the wires off connector and just put the wires on the new horn
