Well I got back to Vauxhall just over a week ago. Over the last 10 years I have been chopping and changing a bit

Vectra estate 1.8 (loved the car but wanted more gadgets after 3 yrs)

Vectra hatch 2.2 dti elegance (great car, fast, comfortable, good mpg kept 2yrs should have kept longer)

Mondeo estate 2.0 tdci zetec (ok car nice at first but started to bore me , started smoking at 22k got rid after 3 yrs for something more exciting to drive)

Seat leon tfsi 2.0 sport 2006 low mileage (0-60 = 7.4 145mph, outstanding road-holding, 27mpg fun for 6 months, not comfortable, abit small for me, airbag problem,traction control problem, someone hit me up the bum, all taken care off with warranty/insurance. Strange noise from steering (time to get rid 8 months after purchase)

So I started looking, how to buy something that suited me better without costing me loads. Ford had nothing I wanted (new mondeo is so boreing to drive) Citroen is abit old manish, I think the c5 is ok but wife called me a old fart!!
The more I looked at others the more it was looking like vauxhall again.
Ok I did not want another tractor been there done that, for all the merits and there are many. I just could not put up with another tick tick tick engine.
Well the long and short of it is that I got £8300 for my Leon in exchange for a Sri 1.8 vvt 10k perfect condition inside and out silver lighting 58 plate Network Q (Eden Reading) £8995 or £700 outlay
I will keep this car for atleast 3yrs (I think)

Good things that mean so much.
Very very comfortable, Great mpg so far 37.2, Perfect size, Worried that it would be slow - its no rocket but it is far from slow (you do need to select the correct gear). Wife likes it/kids like it, Nice Styling, Fun/enjoyable to drive,Cheap insurance,Cheap Servicing,Outstanding value for money.

Not so great.
Crap cd30 - already have a new Sony ready to fit at weekend
No swing in mirrors on a 58 plate car is poor.

if you mean electric fold away then no but obviously they fold in manually,welcome to the site mate

Welcome to the site, folding mirrors can be fitted, there's a how2 on the how 2 section I think!
