314 brake upgrade
I've got really bad sticking calipers on my vec T the minute and bought some 314 brakes with Bremen discs and pads for £30. I've cleaned all the calipers down, managed to free the piston out a bit and cleaned that with wet and dry and cleaned up the carrier. Without sounding stupid is it just a matter of stripping the old brakes off and putting the new ones on? The other question was the brake guard. Do I simply cut the lip off with an angle grinder?
Thanks and sorry if the questions have been asked before I did look but couldn't find anything.

You just need to cut a small portion of the dust guard. Otherwise yes, just make sure they are up the correct way...... loads of info on here if you search. Best mod after remap I did.

don't forget that when the calipers are fitted the bleed nipple should be at the top !!

Thanks both. I've put all new seals in them this week and painted them so going to fit tomorrow all going well shouldn't take long.
