Good mods mate, can't beat the insignia washer jets! I think the m-tec 501's don't look blue at all, and i've got 8000k HID's lol. But I thought auto dimming mirror was standard?

Standard on the "older" models and the better spec "newer" ones

You definately got the right ones? Mine are pretty white, I mean the actual bulbs are blue, but the light output are white. I see, can't beat the dimming mirror, handy behind the new range rovers & BMW's!

Hi, how much did it cost you to install the auto dim rear view mirror? Also what parts did you need and was it difficult? I'd also like to install the auto dim off side mirror but don't know how hard that would be.

Not sure really, they are from ebay but they are really blue! If they looked like the pic I took, id be happy. Think I might put the old ones back in and stick the MTEC's in my rear plate lights ??

It cost me £40 something from a member on here. I got the actual mirror, wiring harness including the wiring harness for a rian sensor as I want to do that eventually too.

Its easy, to do what I have done here so far, all that was needed was the mirror and one wiring harness. The harness plugs into the fuse box thing in the boot (near side, behind the trim panel. You can see the edge through the first aid box holder) Then feed the wire through the roof panel to the mirror area and plug it in. With the dimming mirror, there is also a discreet light that lights up the gear stick area, quite cool...
