    Default Clutch Spring

I've just fitted the clutch spring mod kit, part number 9318 3937 and about £7 from the dealers.
2 minute job for anyone interested

I was suprised to see a place to fit it, but nothing originally there??
Looks like they should have been fitted from day one

Took some pictures for anyone unsure where it fits:

It was in stock with the dealer near my work in Derby
I would say dealers keep stock of them because it rectifies cruise control fault

Excellent, I got this spring ages ago but as it looked like nothing already there I never fitted it.

I will be doing so now.

    Good work Ian.

Ahhh, so is this an "additional" spring, currently there is nothing there?

the clutch will still work, but the pedal won't return up fully, so it could cause some cruise control issues..

best to get the spring mod kit that Ian mentions at the top..

i had the spring in but it popped out. i have just tried to put it back in but i think the spring has stretched cause it just wont push back enough for it to go in. does anyone have a pic of the spring so i know if that is the problem?
