Removal of rear chrome boot strip

Hi guys, just looking for a how to take the rear chrome boot strip which normally has "VECTRA" written and the model. Is it a simple process to remove this?

remove trim off bootlid and then I think there's just a couple of bolts holding it on.

oh right yeh i noticed two bolts on the outer side but i think the boot liner needs to come off from the boot! thanks mate

hi mate, i have not given it ago atm.. been abit busy.. it shouldnt be too bad i dont think!

I took mine off at one stage and all I can remember is that there is about 4 plastic clips holding it on as well as the 2 bolts. As far as I remember it is impossible to remove the strip without breaking the clips. I had to buy new clips from the stealers but to be honest I think they were maybe about £2. so cheap.
