DIY headlight mod day!!!!!

right....home finally...and ahhaha its working so far --- bought a draper dremel and the thing didnt work

so off to work I went with the wifes stepdad, and my heatgun, and a new draper stanley knife ( which fell apart and was thrown in the bin ) .... so i used a stanley knive her stepdad had


what a job.....never ever again.....omfg lol

but its done now and touch wood the silicone RTV sets well overnight and there are no holes ect

many many pics, the pos draper dremel, the wifes stepdad, many pics of lights at various stages, the wife, and the car finally back togeather in the dark lol - i wil get a daytime pic tomorow though i promise

...those who thought I would fail....

ohh by the way, no chrome removed, used masking tape and cloths....but put masking tape on my t-shirt repeatedly to give it less tackyness - tiny bit of overspray and used elecrtaclean to gently shift it

ohh, and after i COVERED everything in RTV silicone to hopefully seal it as you will probly see from pics...

...ohhhh and i didnt totally drop the bumper, the how2 on here didnt work for my car, so i just clambered under and painstakingly got to the undernieth hidden bolt

chuffed like, thought i was going to kill them, and using the heatgun meant minimal damage to the lights unlike the dremel way, and heatgun alowed me to bend the plastics back into shape were damage was done --- not a bad days work tho
