Yeah, just put them on just Incase anyway, no harm in having them on
That looks brilliant dude. Yeah ever get rid of this and I can afford it, I'm so buying it off you, lmao.
I do like the Mtek 501's. Just placed them in mine. They offer no more light than the OEM's but white/blue tint is much nicer than that dull orange.
Looking nice fella
The Mtecs are good, i had them in my sidelights but fitted leds when one was faulty. Also got them fitted to my interior light and numberplates.
Hid's are the best mod i ever done. (Well gary kindly fitted them for me) I drive a lot of dark b roads so they are just amazing. Mine are only 6k but i had tried all the nightbreaker and other ones and they were just pants.
Just a quick night time(ish) pic in the car park at work,
can see the sidelights and fog light 501's now![]()
Very cool looking motor paul, youve done well there m8, was that taken at the echo arena.
Thanks dervb
Nah taken at short stay multi storey at Manchester airport
paul what fitment is the fog lights m8?? was thinking of getting the hid's for them. you have just made my mind up about them. look really nice.
the fog lights are H3 bulbs
The light you can see is a MTEC 501 bulb, basically drilled a hole in top of each for unit, then put a bulb holder in and sealed with silicone, then doubled the wiring for sidelights.
I did used to have LED's in them, but with the weather getting worse, after me having fog lights on, it melted the LED's!!! so they had to be replaced lol
Dont suppose ill need fogs now concidering how bright my dipped beam is![]()
