SmidBro's Signum Design 3.2 V6

Love the idea of Vehicle diaries, will be quite interesting to see what everyone is doing / done and has planned so here is mine -

I was originally looking at getting an Omega Elite 3.2 but my brother convinced me to get a Signum and I'm glad I did.

I bought the car in July 2011 for £1600 with 103k on the clock and a few problems.

Work done so far -

1. New rear shocks
2. New rear upper control arms x2
3. New rear anti roll bar bushes x2
4. Rear number plate bulbs changed to LED lights
5. Interior lights changed to LED
6. Boot blind / cover off ebay fitted
7. Travel assistant off ebay fitted
8. Parrot MKi9200 bluetooth fitted
9. interior of the car has been valeted as it was quite a mess from the last owners
10. Front flexi had fallen apart, new flexi from MIJ welded in
11. K&N pannel filter installed.
12. 4 wheel tracking done
13. Cambelt, water pump, tensioners and aux belt changed
14. New spark plugs

Work to do -

1. New mtec disks and pads waiting to be fitted
2. New drop links and front ARB bushes waiting to be fitted (same time as the brakes)
3. Car machine polished
4. Wheels refurbed
5. Save up for new exhuast, the back boxes are slowly falling apart
6. Airbox mod
7. LED side lights and Ring Xeonultima install
8. Headlight 'Fix' adjust the beam up a bit
9. Fit rear parking sensors
10. headlight and rear light refurb
11. Needs a new front bumper spoiler, doesnt have one at the moment
12. Catch tank
13. Front windows tinted
14. Eibach lowering springs to drop the car another 15mm
15. Dent in front n/s wing and n/s rear door need pulling out

And lots more to come no doubt Will get more pictures up as I do more

I fitted the filter two days after i got the car but didnt have the bits to do the whole mod at the time, i did take off the other bit plastic inside the box at the time though

might want to not bother with tinting the front windows , as the front windows are already tinted to there maximum of 70%

Thats interesting, i thought it might make it slightly darker than that, it was really only a maybe and quite low down the todo list

Very nice motors .. but then I'm biased as I have a Siggy 3.2 V6 too !!! ...

Don't fit the LED's either, they just throw up a bulb blown message and even if you get the canbus ones they still pulse. Get some mtec bulbs instead.
