Default Nokia CK-7W Bluetooth car kit

Wanted to get rid of the bluetooth headset, so fitted a Nokia ck-7w car kit today. Must have taken about 5 hours, took longer than I expected, as I had removed quite a few parts to give better access.

It didn't help that it was pretty warm today, temp guage showed 30 degrees

Great kit, can connect by bluetooth or by using cable, mutes headunit as well.
when I was testing it, had no power to headunit , then eventually realised display between vents was disconnected

With what phone are you using it? And is the connection Ok at higher speeds without using the cradle?
The reason I ask is that I have one lying around waiting to install it in the ms. her Vectra, but I'm not sure if I'm going to install the cradle (for the 6230i) or buy her a new 6300... although she wants the Prada thing I'm afraid

I'm using it with the Nokia N73, I have just connected cable into phone when needed. I want to get a cradle, but they don't do one for the N73. I have found info on the net that you can use the CR-28 holder for the 3230 nokia as it is only 1mm smaller in height.

Hmm the cable connection to the Ck7 w cardle thing drives me mad. Look at it and the plug falls out or half falls out. I ended up with the standard old Rock n Roll mod bathroom sealer to stop the plug falling out.
The old type with the hard wired cable were no problem good as gold.
Had one for about 4 years no trouble.

The nokia phone holder arrived today, for anyone who is interested, this holder is a CR-28 that is supposed to be for a 3230 model.
The holder comes with the aerial connection cable fitted, all I have to do is fit an aerial if needed.

I have the N73, but nokia don't do a holder for this

I found on the net that people have used the CR-28 & works fine.

    Fits & works ok

Before anyone asks, I got another display surround from the breakers & cut a small piece out to keep cables tidy.
That way I can fit original back in if I get rid of car
