Do diesels have throttle bodies? :

I thought all diesels increased and decreased through variations in fuel injection, not throttle.

I know that CDTi 150's have swirl valves, but this would be the nearest to a throttle on a diesel!!

If there was a throttle body there (dunno) it would be under the plenum bit, right after the black silicone hose that comes from the intercooler (bottom right).

intercooler - silicone hose - plenum - throttlebody - inlet manifold

Have a look at this pic, the TB should be under the bolted on metal pipe which is circled in the picture. You need to remove it first.

However, I am not sure if the diesel has a TB, I drive a petrol 2.0t. Someone will know better I'm sure.

My nick is latin for "cause of death", stupid I know..
