pre facelift lowering springs

are the pre facelift lowering springs the same for all models?


ie will ones of a 1.8 petrol fit a 2.2dti, and so on?

they will fit but it will be the wrong ride hight

They'll physically fit but the axle weights will be wrong and cause potentialy alot of damage to your running gear.

well i just found out they are off a 2 ltr petrol ...... would they be ok on my 2.2 dti?????

You'd need to know the axle weights off both cars to be 100%

theres a sticker on the drivers door shut that shows the chassis no the paint code and the axle weights - they both need to be the same from both cars to be safe - i've stopped 4 members buying my springs and shocks as i dont want them buying the wrong ones and looking like a chelsea tractor
