Xbox Kinect sensor used for puppetry..

Was sent this earlier, It's been doing the rounds showing how the Kinect sensor can be used in non gaming uses, from 2mins in it shows the kinect tracking the arm movement, I see another video where a kinect had been put ontop of a robot so the robot could see it's surroundings and where it was going

Who cares? More to the point, how can this (the video) be made into a game?

I'd get Kinect if I thought for one minute it had a future in 'core' games.

Its quite clearly aimed (at the moment) on the Wii market, which lets face it (the Wii) leaves a lot to be disired in the graphics market which the xbox does not.

What do you class as a core game? RPG? Shoot em ups?? Driving??? Or just COD

THQ are doing some core games for the Kinect, They've not released any much info on them yet though and Ubisoft are investing heavily in Kinect gaming, which is good (Ubisoft sent me 6 Kinect games to review

) and with 2.5 Million Kinects sold in just 25 days and 4.1 million moves sold in 70 days it's looking good for Kinect & Move motion controller gaming..

I'm not disputing the sales figures. The Wii sold better than anything else before it, but look at the state of that for 'core' games.

Big Sig, yes - all those you mention. Nothing of which can work, or ever will work with Kinect. You need buttons you see.

I actually agree, same as with the wii, Cod was rubbish!

I think they are just after the wii Market ATM.
