Can anyone tell me what the rpm's are at a cold start with 5 degrees celcius outside. Mine 2.8t does it arround 1500 rpm. Is this normal?

Sounds normal but i dont pay attention to mine im busy switching on what i want etc

does it about 1 minute.
12c this morning fast idle at 1450 for about 12 seconds

its normal, will settle to under 1k after about 10 seconds then once warmed up will settle to around 600 RPM
A minute sounds too long, unless the weather is very cold. The engine would be generating quite a lot of torque at that speed.
