Has anyone on here done a vxr engine conversion into a vectra c or signum ? if so did you have any problems with wiring etc i may have a engine and all the parts coming in to do the conversion

Not that i know off,think a few have thought about but its too envolved,but would like to see one done.......
You can alreadt get a non-VXR 2.8T unit in Signum and Vectra not sure how the engine internals differ between that unit and the VXR unit.
A std 2.8T with a BSR remap will get you upto 285bhp. It may be easier/cheaper to get a non-VXR 2.8T?
Or buy a VXR?

ok thanks i will have a look we have done loads of converisions already like z20leh in a mk5 astra estate,z20let in a mk4 astra van,z20let in a corsa c we havent done a vectra yet so will look into it
i will hopefully be getting it done on mine , just in talks with a company about fitting because its looking like the whole car will need re-wirring
Courtenay sport are the guys to speak to but to be honest its a big no no. The Siggy 2.8 only needs a map to get it to VXR power.
Courtenays do a conversion for the 2.2 by fitting a supercharger, they have fitted it to Astra's, Vec B's and VX220's but cant do it to the same lump in the Vec C due to the Can Bus, so a hole engine swap, well..............
we done the z20leh converision on my mk 5 astra which is canbus and everything is fine on my car im sure we could fit as long as you have all the parts it wont be a problem
