very funky!...i like it
Cant see it doing much to the Insignia's prices tbh as it is in a different market sector - ie electric self regenerating car, built to compete with the Toyota Prius.
Gazza4
I thought it looked great tbh & don't see anything that resembles a honda either,
Don't like the civic.. and dont like that
BUT
i do like the wheels!
lol
Am sure James May tested something very similar to this a while back on Top Gear, but it didnt look like that, well the front didn't!
But the principle of a self charging car was!
I love the looks, then i saw it was electric.
I live in a terraced house, I'm lucky if i get parked within 100m of my door, how am i supposed to charge this?
I plan on moving home so I'll be driving 160 miles a day, 80 miles each way. It's gonna be on fossil fuels most of the time anyway.
I cant see me having an electric car anytime soon!
It's a hybrid, and wouldn't suit my needs either. BUT we are probably in the minority anyway. Clearly the majority could use this vehicle, as intended.
This isn't exactly ground breaking technology.
Someone mentioned the Prius above. It is not anywhere near as eco as Toyota would have people believe. A decent diesel will beat it for sustained fuel economy any day.
