Thats gone to **** with the fitment of some HID's lol... Is a slippery slope sadly.

Ive got a 2003 Vectra SRi with the CDR2005 currently fitted. It has a problem with jamming up every now again and refusing to play all songs on a disc - often only selecting track 13 and thats it for example. Now im happy with the sound as such - could do with a little more bass but its not that bad for standard tbh...

Im toying with the idea of either an Xtrons unit - or a higher spec vauxhall radio. The trouble is which one to go for? I understand mines preface so half can, and cannot be fitted with post facelift units however is the display on mine coded? So can I fit for example a CCR2006 or CCRT2008? Will this just give me hassle and be easier to fit an aftermarket unit?

The xtrons appeals because of the iPod and bluetooth functionality but id never use the DVD side but on the other hand hate fascia adaptors so if I changed the stereo would have to be double din.

Lol, it's just the tip of the iceberg, I said I wasn't going to modify mine apart from the ICE install too. Don't think I did too well with that (check the link in my signature)

Must admit have been following a few of your posts for inspiration in terms of suspension and ICE

You think so? See im a bit of a tart and if it doesnt look like it should be there it will annoy me lol. And I kinda think if i add an aftermarket headunit that ill want to put in the sub and amp i forgot I had sitting in the loft lol

Do the steering wheel controls still function or are they easy to sort?
