    Default front bumper removal

Tried to remove my front bumper as per How 2 so I could remove the chrome V for colourcoding. Discovered that the passenger side of the bumper appears to be glued into the clips. I guess it's had some front end damage before I owned it.

The downside is I can't get the front bumper off without wrecking it and so far I've been unsuccessful at trying to remove the chrome V with the bumper on.

I take it it's not really a good idea to try and colour code it with it in place especially since I don't have a garage. GRRRRR

bummer. Just be wary that at some point you may need to remove the bumper if you have to change a bulb

I took off the 3 screws under each arch and then took the plastic rivet things off from underneath the car. I then pulled the bumper off the clip at the drivers side (at the wheel arch) and then went to do it at the passenger side. It won't come off at the passenger side and I can see some sort of adhesive in there, it seems to be all along the panel gap from the headlight to the wheel arch

I haven't tried yet. I was so annoyed and also worried about damaging the bumper and/or paintwork. I'm guessing there is probably glue behind it too actually in the clip that the bumper goes into.
