maybe theyll turn up on a members car lol
shame you missed out on them wheels m8 as they would of looked very nice indeed and it was a right bargain at £140
they seem to be very similar to the rims on duncans signum which are very nice indeed
If your winning with minutes to go,raise your bid by silly amounts,so for instance ,you'd like to get the wheels for £110 if possible, but not too bothered if its a little higher. With two mins left your still winning at £110,this of course suggests that somebody about to flash bid you, doesn't want to pay much over that either, and they are going to only leave themselves seconds to out bid you, this goes onto suggest that they will have a limited time to bid,and it takes a certain amount of time for a bid to be confirmed,i'm on a 20mb connection, and it still takes about 3 to 4 seconds to go through. So with 1 minute left increase your bid to £200.Of course you wont be paying this, and unless your up against a complete fool, the flash bidder will be using his vital seconds making silly bids like £130 or £145 pounds. Now keep bidding! Stick one in at £225 and another at £240,this will completely demoralise the flash bidder, who realises they can't get near you.At worst by the time is up you'll be shelling out no more than a £150 on such a bidding war.
I hate flash bidders with a passion, total low life with nothing better to do than sit and watch a bid reach it's final seconds, and then with a smug grin, take what you been looking forward to right from under your nose.As a result i developed this way of doing things, and of course having a good connection helps,so far i've only stumbled once in the last 18 months, the only bids i loose now are ones that go through when i'm out of the house.Try it this way and belive me it works a treat!
Let me know how it goes for you when you try it next!
will do mate cheers for the heads up
www.auctionsniper.com I don`t hang around waiting, put my bid in a week before and it is placed 2 seconds before the end, job done, and no one bidding the price up before the end !!
What would happen if the other guy had the same idea? i.e Puts a flash bid in of say £195 with seconds to go. Or maybe one of the sellers mates to make sure they aren't sold too cheaply.
Would that mean you'd end up paying £200?
