As per a few requests, here are pics of the new parts.

All looks very neat, and you will notice a new EGR which is a bummer as my old one was bypassed with the map, but we couldnt use it as it kept throwing up fault codes once re-assembled, so i had to put a new one on just for the map to read..... that was another £113 that helped me get close to the £980 bill!

Its running sweet, glad it had oil change and cam belt at same time, all good in this weather! Sounds crisp, and my god, when warm with the sport button on, with the remap its absolute lightening!

Anyway, pics for you guys who know what your looking at??

In time there will be dry deposits at the bearings but don't worry as that is normal. Mines went like this.

Where the rod connects to the flaps - in time it will develope dry bits of crap but I only say that as it is easy to assume the manifold is on its way when in actual fact it is fine.

    Welldone on £250!!!

My inlet manifold was £203, EGR £113 and timing belt kit £114 from vauxhall, not counting numerous other bits and bobs, and of course labour... not likelyto get near your price ever!

Still, its all OE, reciepted in my history file and under 12 month garantee....

I got it at that price cos the garage said the air intake fault I had was the manifold, that was fitted, still same fault, then they said it was EGR, that was fitted, still same fault, so I told them to take everything out, Im not paying £600 to drive out with same fault I came in with, garage said, call it £250...... I took car to Vauxhall who fixed fault. they said it was crank was out, or something like that........ I recently had my water pump/timing belt done after the water pump shattered.
