Default HIDs Direct CANBUS Pro kit

    Hi guys.

Ordered this Monday night, got an email yesterday to say it had been sent out and just turned up now. Got the drill bit etc to fit (I think - time for a root in the garage) but I'm a bit confused by the wiring. I know the wires already on the ballast connect to the bulb, and I plug the existing wiring harness into the other connector on the ballast, but I have plugs left over. There's two wires with spade connectors on the end and these are coming out of the rubber grommit that will sit on the plastic cover over the back of the light and one connector which is the same as the one on the ballast but it can't possibly plug in there because then there wouldn't be anywhere for the power to connect.

Needless to say, the instructions are not written in the best English and the wiring diagram doesn't show the extra wires.

And yes, they are H7 bulbs for a preface.

So, help! Have the bulbs been marked up wrong or something? Someone else must have this kit fitted and working, I hope!

the 2 spade connectors plug into where your existing bulb terminals would sit on the standard h7 (take the standard bulb out and your left with the plug with 2 terminals in it) ...... and therefore power up the Hid

this then gets pushed into the headlight housing neatly out of the way

Ah okie dokie. I'll go and have a go in a bit - see if I can work it out. I see what you mean. What about the other end of that connector though? Surely that has to go somewhere. On closer inspection the two spade connectors go through the rubber grommit and connect to the black connector that looks like it fits the ballast. I'll get some photos in a sec.

Ah I see how it works now, got there in the end! The diagram in the book doesn't show anything like as much detail as that. It's a bit pants compared.

    Thanks a lot mate.
