7" Twin Screen DVD Player at Aldi

Just looking through this weeks Aldi flyer and I see they are doing a 7" Twin Screen DVD player for £79.99 from tomorrow. And it comes with a 3 year warranty. Its got remote, mains cables, car cable, case. Plays all DVD formats MP3 all CD's JPEG etc...... Even has a mini USB and SD/MMC card reader for music/picture playback.

I've got one of the older ones and paid a lot more than that. Seems a good buy to me......

Please read this 1st before anyone rigs up a kit in their car, this isn't against the Aldi one, it's all of these kits, if you use one make sure you fit them in a way they cannot slip the headrest cases or detach complete as one unit in a crash, I think the best way is probably to let the kids hold the screens rather than mount them at face level, or stitch the carriers up so the screens cannot slide out of them.

I too have seen this ad and I'm not fooling for this dirty trick again!! They masivly advertise something at a bargain price to get you in there only to be told they have sold out and do not know if anymore will be coming in stock. Aldi are not the only ones doing this (most major hardware stores).
A friend has since told me to advertise this they legaly only need 1 item in stock to sell which an employee can have priority purchase!!
Get there for when the doors open but I would be surprised if anyone walks out the shop with one. Let me know.

Well get there early, they dont open till 10:00
My guess is they'll have loads, and for some time too. This will take over from the old model (that I have) and that was in the store for months after I bought it.

Aldi and Lidl are usually pretty damn good for stuff like this, you do occasionally get market traders in buying up all the stock to sell at a massive price increase though.

The dvd setup their selling is pretty similar to mine, the screens actually have webbing strapping behind them which goes over and under the headrest, so there is no chance it can slip off over the headrest.
