Strong words mate, and your opinion, which is what I asked for !
But I thought top gear was for economy ?
And I cant imagine red lining in 6th gear, you'd be doing about 350 mph !!!

I thought 6th gear was for low rev economy cruising. I'd say 5th gear would be best. However, when my car was on a RR they tested top speed in 4th gear. (Mine is a 5 speed however).

    Thanks for that.
I didn't think 6th gear would rev out somehow ? I hit 140 (on my play-station - honest !!!!) today and there was loads of revs left to go,but it wouldn't pull any further !

i had my old boxed cdti sitting at speedo indicated 145 mph,on my playstation too lol, also had satnav plugged in which was saying true speed was 126 mph, certainly wasnt maxed out though but my bottle went and so i backed off lol,im of the opinion that a tuning box equipped 150 cdti is as fast a car as you should ever need!

Thanks for that I think I agree.
I've had 24 valve Senators,3 litre Capri's, RS 2000's etc, but this seems really fast !

You'll only get the top speed in 5th on the SE mate and thats revving the nuts out of it. My personal top speed however is 70mph
